BEN BRIGGS

Ben Briggs has been doing international business in Europe and Asia since 2000 with a distinct focus on social impact. Recently, Ben & his team have helped institutional and individual investors close around $300 million worth of real estate assets. In 2004, Ben started a leather factory in China that hired several deaf, handicapped, and Down syndrome employees, and is passionate about using business to benefit the community. More recently, Ben co-founded and helps run the branch of an anti-human trafficking organization working in the red light districts of his city.

MIKE ROARK

DIRECTOR OF DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION

Mike Roark is a 30+ year construction and engineering veteran with experience building commercial and industrial facilities including federal and Department of Defense projects. He has spent the last 20 years of his career as a project/program manager for Burns & McDonnell, where he led multiple teams of design and construction professionals on large commercial, institutional and industrial construction projects in China, the Middle East, and around the world. Mike also established and managed Burns & McDonnell’s Middle East branch offices in Doha, Qatar, and Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, where he oversaw large construction projects including iconic office buildings, hotels, school facilities, and residential properties.

ROBBIE BRIGGS

Robbie Briggs is respected for his integrity, business acumen, and dedication to his community. He has owned and operated Briggs Freeman Sotheby's International Realty for over 30 years serving generations of luxury real estate clients.

 

Robbie has sat on numerous foundation boards of local hospitals, educational institutions and other non-profits, including Scottish Rite Hospital, the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, the Hockaday School and the Chemical Awareness Council. He currently serves on the North Texas Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Board of Trustees

The purpose of the Board of Trustees is primarily to decide and direct the allocation of all profits earned from the project. The Board of Trustees members are experts in human trafficking, kingdom business, trauma rehabilitation, and/or charitable fund management, not in real estate. The Board of Trustees would not be involved in any specifics or oversight of the real estate project, but will decide how best to allocate profits for maximum impact in the fight against human trafficking to the glory of God.

MATT FRIEDMAN

Matt Friedman is an international human trafficking expert. From 2006 to 2012, Matt was the Regional Project Manager of the United Nations Inter-Agency Project on Human Trafficking (UNIAP) in Thailand, an inter-agency coordinating body that links the United Nations system with governments and civil society groups across Asia.

 

From 1991-2006, Matt worked for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Thailand, Bangladesh and Nepal. For over a decade, he worked passionately to design and manage both domestic and regional human trafficking programs. He also helped establish a counter-trafficking regional training center, participated in resource mobilization, and produced of two award-winning international films about sex trafficking.

 

Matt is a technical advisor to numerous governments. He is frequently cited in the news media and has been invited to speak at major conferences around the world, and is the author of nine books.

BILL JOB

As a business owner in China for over 25 years, Bill and his team have seen tremendous miracles through partnering with the presence of God at work. With a heart to bless his city, Bill uses his businesses as platforms to transform lives. Working with a network of leaders around the world, Bill brings a tremendous passion and experience in seeing transformation happen when you bring God to work. Over the years, his companies have employed many special needs workers, including hearing impaired, physically disabled, and beggars off the streets as well as supporting orphanage and anti-human trafficking efforts in his city.

PAUL MOORE

Paul is passionate about philanthropy, real estate, and human trafficking. With an MBA from Ohio State, Paul started at Ford Motor Company in Detroit before starting a staffing company and getting into real estate investment. Along the way, Paul was Finalist for Ernst & Young’s Michigan Entrepreneur of the Year two years straight. Paul has completed over 85 real estate investments and exits and started two successful online real estate marketing firms. Paul understands the power of business to create value and change lives, and looks forward to leveraging his understanding of real estate finance to combat modern slavery. Paul is married with four children.

ANNE BRIGGS

Anne is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Art Therapist based in Asia, serving in a red-light district ministry focused on rescuing and restoring victims of human trafficking. In the early stages of trauma recovery, the survivor’s wounds are often too painful to speak, thus Anne finds art-making to be profoundly helpful in the healing journey. She is a strong believer that all people are created in the image of God—the master Artist—and loves helping people unleash their unique creativity. Anne is the sister of founder Ben Briggs.
